This is the earliest incarnation of the modern man's three-piece suit -- the lounge suit. Originally a working-man's coat, this lounge jacket became casual wear for the man of fashion in the late Victorian period.
Our patterns are based on original tailor's drafts from the period and fits chests 38"-54" and waists 34"-50" with instructions for making the pattern fit larger sizes. All sizes are included in one envelope. Embellishment suggestions, historical notes and period tailoring techniques are also included.
